Victory Group Joins Hands to Support People Affected by Typhoon Yagi

On September 20, 2024, companies under the Victory Group conglomerate carried out a charitable activity to support the people affected by Typhoon No. 3 – Typhoon Yagi – at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This event demonstrated the spirit of mutual assistance and the social responsibility that the group has always maintained and promoted.

Typhoon Yagi, the strongest storm to hit the East Sea in the past 30 years, caused severe damage to many provinces. Recognized as the largest storm in the world in 2024, Yagi not only caused massive material destruction but also disrupted the lives of many people, pushing them into difficult circumstances.

In response to this situation, Victory Group quickly mobilized resources to assist the affected residents in overcoming their difficulties. Specifically, Victory Group has donated more than 141 million VND. Additionally, VictoryCons JSC contributed 30 million VND, DBFS JSC donated 30 million VND, and Victory Capital JSC contributed 50 million VND. Notably, employees of the three companies – VCG, DBFS, and VictoryCons – also contributed more than 31 million VND, reflecting a spirit of solidarity and community support.

A representative of Victory Group shared: “We hope that this contribution will help alleviate some of the pain and losses that the people in the affected areas are enduring. With the spirit of unity and sharing, Victory Group always strives not only in business activities but also in social programs, standing by the community during the toughest times.”
